Bipolar Disorder Symptoms are different in different people at different times. This is mainly because of the fact that the disease is one that has various phases. The bipolar disorder is one in which the person has two poles or phases of behavior. In one phase, the person will be very depressed and may feel that he is worth nothing. The other phase is the phase of mania. This is the phase in which the person will feel as if he owns the world and can do anything.

The two phases of the disease cause all the bipolar disorder symptoms to occur. This is because the two phases may alternate with each other. There will be no indication as to when the depression symptoms will change to symptoms of mania.

Bipolar disorder symptoms in mania phase

This is the phase where the person will be very excited and thinks that he owns the world. The individual will also be very active at all times. The person will think that he can do any activity.

Reckless behavior is common in such situations and the person will not hesitate to take major decisions in no time. This could cause major repercussions later on, but the person is not bothered by it.
The person who is the phase of mania may also indulge in excessive sexual activities including affairs. Other than this, the person may also go on a spending spree, buying many things. It is as if the person does not care about the next day, but lives just for that day.
Bipolar symptoms common in depression phase.

The phase of depression is the other extreme of the disease. In this phase, the person will think that he is worthless and is not able to do anything. The person will feel terrible and lack in confidence. The person is not interested in food, work or any other activity. Even personal hygiene and other activities are given up. The person will feel as if he does not have any strength at all.

Depression will also make the person grieve a lot. Since there are changes in the behavior, the person will start weeping or crying uncontrollably. This can lead to further self isolation. There are many people with depression because of bipolar disease who have also tried o commit suicide because of the depression. It is important that the disease is treated as quickly and as effectively as possible because of the treatment is delayed, the Bipolar Disorder Symptoms will increase and worsen too.
